About Me

My journey in the cannabis industry began in Olympia, Washington, where I earned a B.A. from The Evergreen State College, studying Cannabis Business. As one of the first students in this program, I delved into the science of cannabis pharmacology, focusing on the endogenous cannabinoid system and the synergistic potential of cannabinoids and terpenoids.

Inspired by my studies, I began working as a cannabis columnist and state-licensed Medical Marijuana Consultant in Seattle, aiming to make cannabis literacy accessible to everyone. Over the past five years, I have guided thousands of medical cannabis patients through the complexities of the modern cannabis marketplace, helping both medical and recreational users develop effective regimens.

In May, I proudly became one of the first individuals in Washington State to earn a master’s degree in Medical Cannabis Science & Therapeutics from the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy, specializing in Public Policy. Additionally, I hold an associate's degree in Business Administration with a certificate in cannabis retail management and am pursuing a MicroMaster's in Finance from MITx.

My career is marked by a strong commitment to driving meaningful policy change and fostering community inclusivity. I played a pivotal role in supporting the implementation of City Bill 120391, which created the first social equity program in Washington's cannabis industry. Following the bill's passage, I served as a cannabis policy advisor to the Seattle Office of Economic Development, contributing to a needs assessment to support emerging cannabis social equity licensees.

As President of the Medical Cannabis Student Association at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy, I led efforts to create career pathways for students. My leadership philosophy centers on visionary thinking, strategic planning, and empowering teams to achieve their fullest potential.

I continue to follow the latest developments in cannabis research, striving to be a reliable source of information and advocate for the cannabis community. My passion remains helping others understand and harness the vast potential that cannabis offers.
